Football at Washington High School began in 1956 in Class A with Coach Schmidt. There has been 9 Head Football Coaches (including current Head Coach Mayfield) since 1956.
Our winning tradition includes 25 winning seasons, 2 Undefeated Regular Seasons (1978 & 1989), 22 Playoff Appearances, 5 Semi-State Final Appearances, 2 State Title Game Appearances.

Our Varsity football field is in beautiful Phoenix, AZ. Rams Football players train hard all year long to have the pleasure to play on Pagel Field under the Friday Night Lights in the fall at Washington High School. We are proud of the history of our school and this field. The players and coaching staff hope to see you at a game this fall.
